FREE Music LA Classes
Learn West African dance, jazz and Afro-Cuban music! Classes are available during the week now through March 31.
To celebrate African American Heritage Month Plaza de la Raza is offering free music workshops for Beginner and Intermediate level students. Students can choose from courses in Jazz Band (trumpet, sax, clarinet, flute, percussion), Afro-Cuban Jazz Ensemble (congas, timbales, electric guitar, bass, piano, and voice), West African Drumming, Dance and Song, and Advanced Jazz Piano.

The U.S. Commerce Association (USCA) selected Plaza de la Raza for its 2011 Los Angeles Award in the Fine Art Schools category.
