Plaza Receives U.S. Commerce Award
The U.S. Commerce Association (USCA) selected Plaza de la Raza for its 2011 Los Angeles Award in the Fine Art Schools category.
The USCA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies those that have achieved exceptional marketing success in their communities and that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community. Plaza proudly accepts this national honor of recognition.

Last year, Sonia Romero created two designs to commemorate Plaza’s 40th anniversary, which were silkscreened onto t-shirts sold to attendees at the Target Feria de la Familia. The artwork is so amazing! Check out Plaza’s current exhibition, which includes a large-scale art installation of the folklorico dancer!
