Chicano Batman performed at the 6th annual Target Feria de la Familia at Plaza de la Raza on Sunday, July 24, 2011.

Romántico slow rock and bossa nova is here to stay! The Tropicália and slow Spanish rock music by Chicano Batman reminds listeners of West Side Love Story, La Bamba, Pasteles Verdes, Rigo Tovar, and others. These are among the many influences that have inspired the sounds of Chicano Batman. Accompanied by Eduardo Arenas on bass and vocals, the melodic poetry of Bardo Martinez weaves well with the rhythms of drummer Gabriel Villa, creating a fresh contemporary version of rock urbano latino del tiempo de nuestros viejos (urban Latino rock from earlier times)!
