EmBrase Foundation
5K Fun Run/Walk ~ March 5th
The EmBrase Foundation will hold the 2nd Annual 5K Fun Run/Walk. 5K route will be around and through Lincoln Park beginning and ending at Plaza de la Raza.  Proceeds to benefit arts programs for local kids.  More information HERE.
✹ BFA @The Margo Albert Theater

~ March 4-13th

Bilingual Foundation of the Arts presents “El Burlador de Sevilla” at Plaza’s Margo Albert Theater for both Spanish and English-speaking audiences. “The Trickster of Seville and the Stone Guest” by Tirso de Molina and directed by Margarita Galban. Plaza’s School of Performing & Visual Arts  instruction continues with over 100 classes and workshops for children, teens and adults in dance, music, theater and visual arts. Winter Session classes run through March 19th, with final recitals and performances scheduled in class.  Contact the school office at (323)223-2475 for more information.
CAP Music Recital ~
March 20th, 2pm 
Join us at Plaza’s Margo Albert Theater for the culmination of this year’s CAP Music Program with a special recital for family and friends.  Student concert is FREE and open to the public.
Plaza hosts annual special United Way Easter Basket giveaway.  Join us for an afternoon of Springtime family fun including FREE workshops, face painting and more! Contact the school office at (323)223-2475 for more information.
FamilySource Programming ~ Ongoing
FamilySource Centers are located throughout the City of Los Angeles to serve, assist and support residents in their local neighborhoods and communities. Income Tax Preparation Assistance
As a part of Plaza de la Raza’s FamilySource Services, we provide FREE VITA income tax preparation to qualified individuals.  Contact Mayra, Francis or Carolyn for more info on VITA at (323)223-2475. When doing your state taxes, please also be aware of the voluntary donation option to “Keep Arts in Schools Fund” which allows Californians to make tax-deductible contributions of $1 or more to arts education programs.
