Frank Romero has always considered this event to be a space where the community can meet the artist, have a conversation and develop a relationship, which is something you can not do in a commercial gallery setting.

The Blue Hour is a documentary film and discussion series that will take place from February through April 2020 at Plaza de la Raza’s Margo Albert Theatre in Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles. Project Director is local filmmaker Claudia Mercado. The monthly film screenings featured in this program will provide a communal space to see compelling, award-winning documentaries that will examine the theme of immigration ranging from local to global perspectives. Films will be followed by moderated discussions that will include filmmakers, professionals in the field of immigration work, and the individuals featured in these films.
