Theatre & Exercise for Cognitive Health in the Aging Latino Community

Come join us on April 18 beginning at 6:30pm with your thoughts, enjoy a free beverage and meet new people!

The Darwin Pubhouse is a series of discussions, led by experts in the medical field and arts practitioners, which explores the impact of theater, creativity, and exercise upon cognitive health, stemming the tide of memory loss in older adults, particularly from the Latino community.

This townhall is free and everyone is welcome, listen, to offer experiences, and to engage and participate in the conversation. Led by Dr. Giselle Petzinger from USC Keck School of Medicine, and the Parkinsons Foundation, as well as representatives from the Wellness Center and a selection of theatre artists.  The meeting is designed to not only offer data and information but also suggest methods and ideas that connect the process of creativity in tandem with a regimen of exercise which leads to improved and sustained good health.

RSVP at info@plazadelaraza.org or (323)223-2475.
