The 3rd annual Tatuaje festival celebrating the distinct tattoo culture of Los Angeles will return Saturday, July 29 at Plaza de la Raza.

With a cast of 25 students from Plaza de la Raza's CAP Theatre Program, Nuestro Barrio will have five free shows: three at Plaza de la Raza and two at the REDCAT Theatre.

Student Voices Summit & Screening

Students from all over the state are invited to attend the Student Voices Summit & Screening on April 29th at Plaza de la Raza in Los Angeles. This event is free and open to all California public school students in grades 7-12 and their teachers and families. Space is limited and registration is required.

I WITNESS: A Chicano Legacy

I: WITNESS opens April 7 & 8 at Plaza de la Raza! A student-written play, I: WITNESS is performed by students and professional actors and parallels the lives of veterans from the East L.A. Student Walkouts, Chicano Moratorium and seminal art movements with youth of current day East L.A.
